I have a Mac (M-iv) hooked upward to an HP psc 1350 printer (information technology'south also a scanner and copier). It's an inkjet printer with replaceable cartridges. Recently, I have been printing much and the ink runs out quickly. I accept saved the empty cartridges (both black and color) and would like to refill them myself. Has anyone washed this? I assume information technology'south a simple procedure, but would like to avoid any bug. I'one thousand interested in whatsoever tips and/or advice on how to refill cartridges.

Coloweb Thanks for the important tips. The empty cartidges I have are empty since months and I was wondering if refilling those would exist a trouble. I guess I'll just send them off for recycling, and refill the low cartridge I take at present. Thanks much for your input.

My Dad believed he could save a lot of money refilling his ain. It cost me wall to wall rug, a new love seat, plus I had to repaint the bath iii times to cover up the marks by the calorie-free switch & surrounding wall. Funny at present merely not at the time. Muse

I have done it too. I had bluish ink all over my face and arms for days. And so to actually stick it to me, the colour ink didn't print in truthful colors.

I tried this and concluded up with a mess. I didn't piece of work as well well either, just maybe my cartrige was empty.

If you have a Walgreens most y'all, cheque to see if they refill the cartridges. I know that the readerboard at Walgreens in Academy Place says that black cartridge refill is $10 and I believe that color is $15. I take refilled my ain one time and you need to follow the instructions exactly. It said to rest the inking surface on a folded papertowel for ?? minutes. I didn't do it and it wanted to leak. Then I went back and permit information technology sit down the full time and it creates like a "vacuum" to go on the ink within from flowing. Information technology was a hassle to refill though and I tried and tried to go the printer to realize that the cartridge was total--but it merely wouldn't reset.
